What can you expect from Microdosing?

What can you expect?

The Positive Effects

Many people I’ve worked with over the years report positive, valuable, and lasting effects from microdosing. Here are some examples of those experiences that you might encounter as well:

  • Increased Focus and Better Results: Many feel more alive and engaged, turning ordinary tasks into creative challenges.
  • Easier Flow State: Both physically (sports, workouts) and mentally (concentration, creativity), time seems to pass effortlessly, leading to greater satisfaction with your results.
  • Reduced Procrastination: Tasks that have been delayed for weeks are tackled without resistance.
  • Enhanced Awareness and Connection: Stronger bonds with the world and people around you.
  • Accelerated Development: Faster spiritual and emotional growth, leading to better balance.
  • Emotional Awareness: Greater awareness of emotions without being overwhelmed by them, allowing for observation and acceptance.
  • Gratitude and Empathy: Easier to feel and express gratitude and empathy, leading to meaningful and lasting connections.
  • Living in the Now: Enjoying the present moment and the little things in life.
  • Improved Communication: Becoming a better listener and communicator.
  • Reduced Inhibitions and Doubts: Seeing things more clearly and discussing personal matters sincerely and openly.
  • Quieter Mind: Less mental chatter and identification with the mind, resulting in numerous insights into personal behaviour.

These experiences may not all happen at once, and some may require time and effort to achieve. While some people notice effects immediately, others might need more time and introspection.

An Important Note: Microdosing increases your awareness, which can make you more conscious of unwanted patterns. These patterns might become more noticeable, which can be confronting. However, microdosing typically makes it easier to approach these patterns with gentleness, facilitating change.

Remember that you are whole already and that microdosing is an opportunity to learn to accept yourself and allow for constructive changes.

Possible Challenges

Sometimes the effects of microdosing are subtle and vary depending on the person and their environment (these are the so called: set & setting). Results often require time for stillness and introspection. Later in the course, we’ll discuss intention setting and reflection, which are essential in this process.

Highly stressed individuals or those with heavy workloads may experience fewer benefits. Creating some space in your life is important to fully experience microdosing.

In addition to the positive experiences, there may be some challenges:

  • Fatigue: Processing a lot consciously or unconsciously can cause tiredness.
  • Mild Nausea: Some people feel mild nausea, which ginger can help to alleviate.
  • Visual Effects: Those with color blindness might see mild hallucinations or afterimages when they close their eyes.
  • Emotional Sensitivity: Changes in consciousness can lead to increased irritability or a more relaxed feeling.
  • Warm Sensations: A warm feeling from within may cause increased perspiration.

If you encounter any of these challenges, observe them and adjust your dose if you feel its too much. And you can always reach out to me.
