What is Microdosing?

Microdosing of psychedelics involves taking a very low, sub-perceptual doses of a psychedelic substance, such as psilocybin-containing truffles. At these doses, you feel little to no physical effect and can function normally.

A microdose is less than 1/15th of a full dose, which is typically used in ceremonial settings for deep inward journeys. While a full dose can cause hallucinations and time distortions, microdosing does not have these effects.

Microdosing can lead to positive psychological changes such as increased focus, energy, creativity, and flow. It also enhances awareness, connection, empathy, and living 'in the Now,' without the unwanted hallucinogenic effects. Although it is subtle, the effects of microdosing can be deeply transformative. Many people report that a microdosing program feels like it’s 'raining insights.'

Microdosing is not something new and fancy. Indigenous cultures have used sub-hallucinogenic doses of psychedelics for centuries. Recently, microdosing has gained popularity in the Western world and is being extensively researched as a treatment for conditions like depression.
